EQC is proud sponsor of Barnwood United Ladies team, based at Coopers Edge Sports Hub. EQC has co-funded purchase of full kit for the Ladies and its founder, Nicola Wakeman, is not only proud team secretary but also plays for the team.
Nicola has recently been appointed Female Pathway Lead at Barnwood United and is working to devise and deliver strategies to facilitate girls and women into football at all age groups, including those from high deprived areas and those with issues around self-confidence.

Nicola is currently supporting a Rotary community and youth project, which is working with local schools to identify how Rotary can help with funding and fund raising for children in high deprived areas.
